Strathclyde university sells itself as a centre of 'useful learning'. This mission statement certainly resonates today, with graduates no longer guaranteed employment; this idea was made evident after speaking to a well informed staff member at a renowned Scottish highland hotel last month. It's a strong selling point for any university to market itself on providing skills employers are looking for.

Anfield stadium was initially the home of Everton FC, another first-rate Liverpool based side, until the club had a dispute with Anfield’s owner and moved out. Now a team was needed for the stadium and, thus, Liverpool FC was formed in 1892.

The Myth of the Monster
The history of the Loch Ness monster is intense. Whether you believe in the myth or not, it is inevitable that you have come across come literature on the subject. As for my position, I do not believe in old Nessy. To me, it is more than likely just one of those things that spiralled out of control through history. I do not claim to be an expert on the matter, nor do I care to try.
