I have been to Corby a few times during my life, as it is where my mother grew up, and each and every time has been wonderful. I do not know why more people prefer the larger cities, when the opportunities to visit these cozy small towns are plentiful. England is full of them, yet they are constantly overshadowed by London, Liverpool, and many of the other major cities.
Anyway, the castle has remained in the family of William the Conqueror for nearly 500 years, which makes it very fascinating. The family that currently owns it is more than willing to provide visitors with an inside look at what it is like to live in a castle, while providing guided tours.

The raceway is always a great source of entertainment, as it puts on events that typically please people from all walks of life. The racetrack is much more than cars speeding down the runway as fast as they can. You need to experience it in order to fully appreciate it. In all, Corby is a place that has not received the recognition that it deserves, so visit it before the secret gets out.
